End Child Marriage. Empower a Generation.
Every three seconds, a girl is forced into marriage.
In Bangladesh, more than half of all girls are married before age 18. Most lose their chance at education and economic independence before their lives have even begun.
Mai Soli Foundation exists to change that. We partner with schools, families, and community leaders in Bangladesh so girls can stay in school and build futures rooted in opportunity.
Your gift provides girls in Bangladesh with the skills, mentorship, and confidence to avoid child marriage and build brighter futures.
Each contribution supports a holistic model that combines entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and family engagement. Together, these create lasting change for girls, families, and entire communities.
100% of funds go directly toward delivering programs, training new Fellows, and tracking real impact for girls and their families.
Since our founding, Mai Soli Foundation has:
Created partnerships with several schools in Bangladesh with an empowered local team
Helped over 500 girls graduate from the Girls’ Empowerment Program
Guided over 500 families to choose education over early marriage
Earned recognition from Harvard Innovation Labs and Babson College for social impact and innovation
To break a generational cycle and change a girl’s life forever, we provide girls scholarships to complete our Girls Empowerment Program. This scholarship is about $1,100 per girl, providing everything needed to prevent child marriage and expand opportunity. To help our girls receive their scholarships in the program, each of their scholarships draws on:
90 dollars to support direct coaching and mentorship
100 dollars funding the lesson delivery
100 dollars to strengthen work with families and communities
140 dollars for training their new Fellows to give them the care and support they need
Every year, 12 million girls worldwide are married before they turn 18. The urgency is real, but so is the solution.
When girls gain education, leadership, and financial skills, their families see them as capable, valuable, and worthy of investment. One empowered girl transforms a household. A community of empowered girls transforms the future.
